First week in LA

So I don’t know if you know this about me, but I’m a singer first and foremost. Fashion and blogging came a little bit later, BUT it became a great part of my life. πŸ™‚

To make my dreams come true I had to move the the one place where anything can happen…Los Angeles. So on August 9th I started my journey in the City of Angels. And while I’m exploring the city and finding my ways, I thought I’d write about it for you guys who are interested in my life and career and who maybe want to do the same.

So I got to LA on August 9th at 9:45pm. It was after a 27 hour travel day so we were so exhausted 😩. We went to sleep and started the next day with excitement.

We began with the necessary things and then moved on to more interesting errands like apartment hunting and finding the perfect car. Which we did, a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer in great condition!

Then found the perfect place in a very hip and safe part of town. And it has a pool and a jacuzzi! I know it’s quiet common here, but it still gets me every time. Might be lame, but I don’t care! Lol

So after all this we started driving around in our cool car and finally started taking some photos around town. Here are the best of the best.

My first choice of destination has to be the ocean when in LA. It gives me a weird feeling of being so little in the world but also feel like I can do anything. I love it! The feel of it, the smell, the sound and the view of course. Not so much can be said about the outfit as this was middle of the heat wave, but I’m wearing denim cut-offs from Zara and yellow shirt from Stradivarius.

So this one day I was checking out my Twitter which, to be hones, I don’t do too often, and saw that Rita Ora was giving out tickets for the Teen Choice Awards, so I thought, why not try to get a pair? So I tweeted her and a few days later came a dm that I got the tickets! What?!?! This can only happen on LA! So obviously we went and had a blast seeing Rita Ora, Chris Pratt, French Montana and many more. Here I’m wearing a top, pants and shoes from Zara (addict Alertβ€ΌοΈπŸ˜‚)

Our second place that we crashed before moving to a permanent place was a luxury apartment complex downtown LA. And yes, it’s as fancy as it sounds. We were here for 10 days and had so much fun. We used the gym, the pool and the jacuzzi quiet often I must say. 😜 Although you cannot see it, I’m wearing my Zara swimsuit. πŸ˜‚

One of the coolest things in Venice is that artwork. There are so many wall paintings that it’s like being in a museum. This particular picture was taken with the ballon from a painting inspired by the upcoming horror movie “IT” that also has a real life horror house experience in Hollywood that I won’t be visiting… πŸ™ŠπŸ™€ Here I’m wearing Dior sunglasses, shirt and shoes from Zara and skirt from Free People.

I think this is the best photo to end the post with. It sums up my feeling right now. I’m happy. Even though it’s hot as hell and another heatwave is coming I still think is was one of the best decisions of my life, our lives.

The bag is from Zara as well, but you probably saw it in another post before. It is the perfect size for me right now as I tend to carry everything I need and the things I don’t need as well. I know, girls, right…? πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

I guess that’s it for the first week. I’m already at the end of the second week here and the post will come soon. So follow my blog not to miss any new posts. Leave your comments, questions in the comment section below, I’d love to hear from you.

Cooler days

I’m not sure you know this about me, but I’m not the biggest fan of summer… yes, I know, shocking, right? There are many reasons for this feeling but one important one is that I cannot dress up the way I want because when it’s so hot I cannot stand too many pieces… but I love layering. Who doesn’t?

Anyways, the day came when we had a little cooler weather and I decided to go a little simpler with my outfit and do a prompt photoshoot to capture the sunny, yet cool weather.

I debuted my new mom jeans and my lovely bird slip-ons. Let’s see!

I’m wearing shoes from Zara, mom jeans from Pull&Bear, shirt from Stradivarius. The bag has a reversible top and it’s from Stradivarius and the scarf on it is from Zara. The sunglasses are Hickmann and my lipstick is Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid, No. 45 Possessed Plum.

The magical lavender field

There are so many wonderful places in the world, but I guess we should know our own country before visiting every other. πŸ™‚ So, on that note I decided to go a visit our legendary lavender field near Lake Balaton, in Tihany. And honestly, I was very pleased and mesmerized by the view of the lavender field. We had a chance to pick our own lavender and take some amazing photos to capture the beauty.

Also for this occasion I dyed my hair pastel pink to go along with the scenery and put on some pastel purple lipstick. Unicorn at its finest! LOL

I’m wearing shirt and bag from Zara, skirt from H&M, lipstick from Limecrime (Moonstone), pink hair with L’Oreal colorista (Dirty Pink).

A wedding in wonderland

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a wedding and this was definitely one of the best, if not the best we’ve been at. It took place on a magical place, on a farm basically, but it was carefully crafted to be suitable for hopeless city people who, let’s just admit is now, we are. It was nature but in its most beautiful and finest form. We had an absolute blast. The food was great, the guests were amazing and of course the couple was breathtakingly beautiful. The bride was one of my best friends and the groom is a great guy whom she met 3 years ago and it was meant to be. Since I was a little bit involved in the tasks leading up to the wedding, I knew it was gonna be a really fancy event. So my friend told me to go for it with my dress as well. I have lots of clothes, but not really something for an occasion like this, so I had to think and above all, shop! I had a very limited budget so I decided to take a risk and look at Aliexpress to find a suitable dress. My friend, the bride, sent me a link to this dress and I was like, well, ok, but what if it’s total crap?! So I started checking the reviews and pictures people posted wearing this dress and I decided to buy it 4 weeks before the wedding… As you see I was almost out of time, so I got the faster shipping and altogether my dress was a little over $100!! Seriously! And when it arrived I was totally blown away! It was a perfect fit! And perfectly executed!

So I put on some silver pumps underneath, which you cannot see, but they’re there and were there all night! So if there was a medal for the lady who wore high heels the most that night, well that medal would definitely go to me. LOL

I got my makeup done by the same guy who did my friend’s, aka the bride’s makeup and I did a little something with my hair to make it fun.

So here are a couple of picture of me and my boo at the wedding!

Rome Vol. 2 – Mount Vesuvio, Naples

It’s been a while since I posted on my blog and I’m sorry, but it’s been a hectic few weeks. Living out of boxes and suitcases, not sleeping, going crazy… you know, that kind of stuff. But now I realized that I haven’t posted the second part or my Rome trip, so here you are.

We went to Rome, Italy for Easter, but this post takes place on Mount Vesuvio and Naples. The funny story about this trip is that I didn’t know that I was going to climb a freakin’ volcano, so I wasn’t exactly dressed the part of a mountain climber… BUT, I was a hero and managed to climb Vesuvio with a flat, leather ballerina that survived the climb! Go Zara! LOL

After this we went to the port of Naples and shot these really nice pictures.

Beauty product review

Hey there! My most visited posts are the ones about beauty products…not really know why because I think my fashion posts seem better quality but you never know what will work with the blog-viewer community. LOL

So without further ado, here this week’s favorites.

I’m a bit sad that I only discovered this brand now… but better late than never, right? So this is L’Occitane, a French cosmetics brand. That maybe the only thing you need to know because when you hear French and cosmetics in the same sentence, you know it’s good stuff! πŸ™‚

The way I got familiar with this brand is very girl-like. So we have something like a name day (just like a birthday but not really) and mine is in the beginning of December. And every December I cannot wait for my Advent calendar! You know it’s the thing with chocolate 🍫 in it for every day until Christmas. Yes, you read it right! LOL And last year we were on a plane ✈️ on my name day, so my love had no advent calendar for me. I admit I was a bit disappointed. And I thought he totally forgot about but 2 days later he said let’s go to the mall. And there we started looking for this calendar. But I told him I didn’t want chocolate because I was (as always) on a diet, so we looked for a substitute advent calendar and there is was! Huge, colorful and full of beauty products! A L’Occitane advent calendar! I know this story was way too long, so let’s just say that all the 24 little things were amazing in it!

The 2 little bottles in the picture are from that calendar. The white one is a shower gel and the other is a flower scented, sparkling (literally) body lotion. Yes!! Must have!

The big container is the most amazing body lotion/butter I have ever used! Hands down! It was a bit pricey, I admit, but soooo worth it! My skin was ver dry after this intense winter to I had to use other lotions every night, sometimes more than once to make the dry skin go away. But with this, I used it 3 nights in a row and then the dry skin totally disappeared and I only use it now 2-3 times a week. And if this wasn’t enough, it smells like heaven! That is almond milk! Aaaaand I saved the best for last…it has a body firming effect as well! So I encourage you to go get this baby ASAP!

Have you ever tried a L’Occitane product? If yes, which? Let me know in the comment section!

Easter time in Rome Vol.1

Last year we spent Easter in Rome and this year it kind of happened out of the blue, but we ended up in this spectacular city once again! We came for only 3 days with only 1 carry-on…can you imagine he horror? How do I pack in a backpack for 3 days in a city known for it fashion?! Well, this is how: comfortable, stylish, layered and cool.

Obviously my favorite Dior sunglasses were a must, I got them in Rome exactly a year ago! Still in love with them! What’s your favorite sunglasses to wear this season?

I’m wearing my go-to leather jacket from Mango, embroidered shirt, jeans and shoes from Zara, fishnets from Tezenis and sunglasses from Dior.
What’s the one Italian city you wish to visit?

Biker ballerinaΒ

How do you wear a tulle dress that is completely see through? Well, I do it like this. With a leather jacket and velvet high-heel boots. And of course the must have Sephora red lip stain (which is empty now, 😟).

And may I just say, isn’t Budapest a beautiful city? Have you visited already?

I’m wearing leather jacket from Mango, tulle dress and velvet boots from Zara, lipstick from Sephora.

Beyond ordinary sight

I have been in love with this denim jacket for quite some time and I just couldn’t wait to make a post about it. It’s cool, edgy, fun and comfortable. It also has the quote “Beyond ordinary sight” on the left button seam that is a great motivator for the day. So we went out to the city with Dorottya Bokros photographer and made these amazing pictures.

I’m wearing coat, shirt, jeans, shoes from Zara, Dorka Petrity bag, Dior sunglasses and Limcrime lipstick, cashmere color.

Do you have a favorite denim coat? Let me know in the comments!

US beauty products

I got another round of drug store beauty products from the US and I wanted to let you know about it. In this round I’m gonna just tell you why I got these, because I haven’t tried them, so for now it’s just an information post. πŸ™‚

First off, I really-really wanted to try this L’Oreal colorista washout color, but I’m kind of scared to be honest. I really like my blonde hair, but wanted to shake it up for spring with a not so permanent change. So this seemed like the perfect chance to do so. I like the blue one better at this point, because I realised after I got the color, that I wanted the lighter pink… LOL. So now, I’m on the hunt for the lighter pink color for spring! πŸ™‚ Have you tried this product? If yes, let me know your thoughts in the comment section and send me a picture too.

Whenever I search for drug store products Neutrogena is always on the list, so this time was no exception. I have a similar product from Dior called Fix It! and I really like that, so I thought this could be a great (and cheaper) alternative. I got the lightest color there was, but I have a feeling it might be dark for my skin anyways. We’ll see.

FullSizeRender (3)

This is another Neutrogena product that I tried already and I have to tell you that it is perfection! It’s a moisturizer and it is light, smells great and makes my skin smooth and beautiful. I love it already!

FullSizeRender (2)

I read about this product that Gigi Hadid wore this while hosting the American Music Awards, so if it’s good enough for Gigi, it’s good enough for me. πŸ™‚ I haven’t tried it because I have some powder left, but I cannot wait to do so! And when I do, I will let you know my findings.

Obviously I couldn’t go without getting a few lipsticks. I saw an ad about Blake Lively’s L’Oreal lipstick colors and since I love Blake and I have similar features (obviously I’m not talking about the killer body, rather the blonde hair and blue eyes…LOL) so I assumed these colors will look good on me too. We’ll see, but I can already tell that they smell amazing.

So that’s it for now, hope you guys like this post and let me know your thoughts about these products if you have tried them. See you next time!
