Fancy stroll on Rodeo Drive

I just got a fresh haircut from the amazing Caitlin Sennott (@caitlin.sennott) and I thought to myself, I need to get that on film. So I teamed up with @othellomarxphotography and strolled Rodeo Drive and took advantage of the beautiful scenery. And also got a matcha latte from Alfred Tea House, cause that’s the best! πŸ’š

When it gets hot in California, it’s HOTTTT! So I like wearing light and airy clothes to be able to move and be comfortable in the hot. So I have 2 of these pants, one is this baby blue and one in mint green. Both are super comfy, easily wearable with anything, can be casual or even chic with some high heels, like I did here. The pink shirt has been a part of my closet for a while, yet I find it pretty hard to wear it… but this time it worked.

I just got these naked heels that I absolutely love! They are from Zara and they are actually pretty comfy for high heels! And can be worn with literally anything!

Now let’s talk about the bandana! I found it a little challenging to do anything with my hair since it’s been this short, but with bandanas and pearl hair clips making their way into everyday fashion, I’m saved! Lol I really love this look and it worked really well with the outfit because of the pink and blue. I also have another bandana that’s more suitable for brown and green clothes, so I think I’m set for summer.

Do you like wearing hair accessories? Which ones?

I’m wearing shirt, pants, shoes and bag from Zara, watch from Walmart, bandana from H&M, necklace from &otherstories and Luna Norte, sunglasses from Gucci.

The magical poppy field

There are so many gorgeous places in California that most of the time I’m in awe of the place where I have the pleasure to live. It’s truly magical and beautiful. When I heard about the poppy blooming because of the crazy amounts of rain we had… well, for California at least, I know I had to see it. It was only an hour and a half drive from where I live and since I could spend the day with my boo, it was double worth it. ☺️ Here’s some proof of the beauty we witnessed at the poppy fields.

I’m wearing Zara dress, Cape Robbin shoes, H&M headband, Rayban sunglasses, Zara wooden bag.

What’s your favorite flower? Have you visited any poppy fields?

Pink beauty November

One of the hardest things in a woman’s life is finding the right skincare products that will make your skin healthy and you can afford it for the foreseeable future. Another thing that makes it hard is that as you age your skin changes, so it’s an ongoing process. You can’t use the same products in your 30s that you used in your teens.

For me the biggest change came when I moved to LA from Hungary. The climate, the water, the food and the air pollution all played a part is messing up my hair and skin big time and it took me a year to get my skin back to normal, while my hair is still struggling…

So I thought I’d share with you guys the products and accessories I used to get back in the game.

Comedo Suctionmicrodermabrasion and vacuum

I’ve had microdermabrasion facials before, but in LA it’s a little pricier than I can afford, so I needed to take matters into my own hands. And I have to say, I don’t regret it. It has 4 heads, 1 little and 1 big blackhead auction heads, 1 suction head for little wrinkles and one microdermabrasion head. I use it like once a week and it has helped a lot in helping with some acne scaring I had since I moved here. Make sure you use it carefully as the vacuum suction can cause bruising if you leave it on for too long!!!

After this treatment I put on a nice hydrating face mask to get the moisture all the way into my skin.

Talking about masks, this pink clay mud mask is one of my favorites right now. I couldn’t find a link to it, but most pink clay masks will do wonders to your skin. You have to leave it on for 20 minutes and after your skin is soft and feel super great!

My next favorite product is the Rose Face Mask by fresh. This mask has actual rose petals in it and smells like roses for real! It super hydrates your skin and if you like rose smell, you’ll be in heaven. I honestly recommend this at least once a week!

Next up is Glossier’s magic potion, solution. It’s an exfoliating tonic that is a savior for acne prone skin. Believe me! It helped me so much! And it’s so popular, it’s almost always sold out, so make sure to get more than 1 bottle at a time! Lol I use it every morning and night after cleansing my skin and before serum and moisturizer.

And last, but not least, the final pink product I want to share with you guys is Orlando Pita’s Play shine boosting spray. This bottle of awesomeness will make your hair super shiny – in the good way – and smell amazing while also helping with any frizz that might be going on. So don’t hesitate if you need the perfect hair product to make you shine this holiday season!

The Wig Fairy experience

On thing I really love about living in LA is all the new experiences and people I meet on fun occasions like the photoshoot for The Wig Fairy. I applied for the shoot, they chose me and suddenly I find myself in a place full of gorgeous wigs and other ladies coming together for the funnest shoot ever! So let’s get to it!

First, I got some amazing makeup on, and some gorgeous lashes! I thought they did a beautiful job with the makeup, so I was ready to go!

The first wig I got was this Desperate Housewives/Stepford wives inspired one which I kind of enjoyed because it’s been a while since I had long hair. But even when I had long hair, I never had this much… 😏

Look at me pulling of the stylish mom look! Huh! Lol! Not ready yet! πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚

The second look was the one where everyone said “Sorry, someone had to take the bullet…lol” so I went with it. I freakin looked like my mom! 🀣 Not that it’s a bad thing, but kind of freaked me out a little bit. But I liked the color… what do you think?

The final look was my absolute favorite! The wardrobe was very comfy and casual, but the hair…oh, that hair! I loved the color, the style and the amount of hair again I’ve never had and probably never will… 😩

But after giving it some thought and looking at the pictures I believe that I found the color that’s unique and fits me. So all in all I’m happy with my hair. ☺️

What do you guys think? Which hairstyle is your favorite? Do you like your hair? Let me know in the comments section!

Long Beach story

Another amazing shoot at the beach, but this time at Long Beach. I met up with the photographer by the beach and we clicked right away. I didn’t really have a full concept, I just wanted to capture the way I was feeling, which was great! I felt good in my skin, I felt comfortable and sexy. I know it seems weird to say this out or write it down, but I think that feeling like this about oneself is unfortunately not a very common thing…it should be though!

Anyways, it was one of the last nice days at the beach before winter kicked in so we took advantage of that and I even wet my hair with the ocean. The cheapest and easiest beach waves ever, huh?

I’m wearing top and chunky sweater coat from Zara, leather shorts from Mango and accessories from Michael Kors.

Where should we shoot next? Any ideas, let me know in the comments!

A walk on the beach

One of my favorite things in Los Angeles is that you can go down to the beach anytime you want. I️ think I️ might have said that before, but it’s really true. I’m a hopeless romantic, what can I️ say?

So this time I️ met up with an upcoming photographer/filmmaker Ou Zhang (Instagram: @ouzhangstudio) to do an analog and digital shoot without any other equipment but the camera and the gorgeous sunset. Here’s what we got out of this beautiful late afternoon.

I️ am wearing a Zara dress, DKNY sweater, Chanel foundation and Maybelline matte lipstick.

Tell me about your favorite beach in the comments below.

Out of the woods

One of my first photo shoots in LA was in Pasadena and the photographer had an idea to make it a β€˜fairy lost in the woods’ theme. And you know me, I’m all for themes and creative ideas so I was on board immediately. And here’s what happened on that magical day.

I am wearing a skirt from H&M, shirt from Zara and this time no shoes! πŸ™ˆ Lipstick is a liquid matte lipstick from MAC. Recommend it if you want a great quality, long-lasting matte lipstick that doesn’t dry your lips. πŸ‘„πŸ’„

What is your favorite matte lipstick brand?

Cooler days

I’m not sure you know this about me, but I’m not the biggest fan of summer… yes, I know, shocking, right? There are many reasons for this feeling but one important one is that I cannot dress up the way I want because when it’s so hot I cannot stand too many pieces… but I love layering. Who doesn’t?

Anyways, the day came when we had a little cooler weather and I decided to go a little simpler with my outfit and do a prompt photoshoot to capture the sunny, yet cool weather.

I debuted my new mom jeans and my lovely bird slip-ons. Let’s see!

I’m wearing shoes from Zara, mom jeans from Pull&Bear, shirt from Stradivarius. The bag has a reversible top and it’s from Stradivarius and the scarf on it is from Zara. The sunglasses are Hickmann and my lipstick is Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid, No. 45 Possessed Plum.

A wedding in wonderland

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a wedding and this was definitely one of the best, if not the best we’ve been at. It took place on a magical place, on a farm basically, but it was carefully crafted to be suitable for hopeless city people who, let’s just admit is now, we are. It was nature but in its most beautiful and finest form. We had an absolute blast. The food was great, the guests were amazing and of course the couple was breathtakingly beautiful. The bride was one of my best friends and the groom is a great guy whom she met 3 years ago and it was meant to be. Since I was a little bit involved in the tasks leading up to the wedding, I knew it was gonna be a really fancy event. So my friend told me to go for it with my dress as well. I have lots of clothes, but not really something for an occasion like this, so I had to think and above all, shop! I had a very limited budget so I decided to take a risk and look at Aliexpress to find a suitable dress. My friend, the bride, sent me a link to this dress and I was like, well, ok, but what if it’s total crap?! So I started checking the reviews and pictures people posted wearing this dress and I decided to buy it 4 weeks before the wedding… As you see I was almost out of time, so I got the faster shipping and altogether my dress was a little over $100!! Seriously! And when it arrived I was totally blown away! It was a perfect fit! And perfectly executed!

So I put on some silver pumps underneath, which you cannot see, but they’re there and were there all night! So if there was a medal for the lady who wore high heels the most that night, well that medal would definitely go to me. LOL

I got my makeup done by the same guy who did my friend’s, aka the bride’s makeup and I did a little something with my hair to make it fun.

So here are a couple of picture of me and my boo at the wedding!

Beauty product review

Hey there! My most visited posts are the ones about beauty products…not really know why because I think my fashion posts seem better quality but you never know what will work with the blog-viewer community. LOL

So without further ado, here this week’s favorites.

I’m a bit sad that I only discovered this brand now… but better late than never, right? So this is L’Occitane, a French cosmetics brand. That maybe the only thing you need to know because when you hear French and cosmetics in the same sentence, you know it’s good stuff! πŸ™‚

The way I got familiar with this brand is very girl-like. So we have something like a name day (just like a birthday but not really) and mine is in the beginning of December. And every December I cannot wait for my Advent calendar! You know it’s the thing with chocolate 🍫 in it for every day until Christmas. Yes, you read it right! LOL And last year we were on a plane ✈️ on my name day, so my love had no advent calendar for me. I admit I was a bit disappointed. And I thought he totally forgot about but 2 days later he said let’s go to the mall. And there we started looking for this calendar. But I told him I didn’t want chocolate because I was (as always) on a diet, so we looked for a substitute advent calendar and there is was! Huge, colorful and full of beauty products! A L’Occitane advent calendar! I know this story was way too long, so let’s just say that all the 24 little things were amazing in it!

The 2 little bottles in the picture are from that calendar. The white one is a shower gel and the other is a flower scented, sparkling (literally) body lotion. Yes!! Must have!

The big container is the most amazing body lotion/butter I have ever used! Hands down! It was a bit pricey, I admit, but soooo worth it! My skin was ver dry after this intense winter to I had to use other lotions every night, sometimes more than once to make the dry skin go away. But with this, I used it 3 nights in a row and then the dry skin totally disappeared and I only use it now 2-3 times a week. And if this wasn’t enough, it smells like heaven! That is almond milk! Aaaaand I saved the best for last…it has a body firming effect as well! So I encourage you to go get this baby ASAP!

Have you ever tried a L’Occitane product? If yes, which? Let me know in the comment section!
