The magical lavender field

There are so many wonderful places in the world, but I guess we should know our own country before visiting every other. 🙂 So, on that note I decided to go a visit our legendary lavender field near Lake Balaton, in Tihany. And honestly, I was very pleased and mesmerized by the view of the lavender field. We had a chance to pick our own lavender and take some amazing photos to capture the beauty.

Also for this occasion I dyed my hair pastel pink to go along with the scenery and put on some pastel purple lipstick. Unicorn at its finest! LOL

I’m wearing shirt and bag from Zara, skirt from H&M, lipstick from Limecrime (Moonstone), pink hair with L’Oreal colorista (Dirty Pink).

What’s your favorite place in your own country? Let me know in the comments below!

Rome Vol. 2 – Mount Vesuvio, Naples

It’s been a while since I posted on my blog and I’m sorry, but it’s been a hectic few weeks. Living out of boxes and suitcases, not sleeping, going crazy… you know, that kind of stuff. But now I realized that I haven’t posted the second part or my Rome trip, so here you are.

We went to Rome, Italy for Easter, but this post takes place on Mount Vesuvio and Naples. The funny story about this trip is that I didn’t know that I was going to climb a freakin’ volcano, so I wasn’t exactly dressed the part of a mountain climber… BUT, I was a hero and managed to climb Vesuvio with a flat, leather ballerina that survived the climb! Go Zara! LOL

After this we went to the port of Naples and shot these really nice pictures.

Here I’m wearing leather jacket from Mango, striped shirt, skirt and shoes from Zara and Dior sunglasses. Also Dita Von Teese matte lipstain which is amazing!

Easter time in Rome Vol.1

Last year we spent Easter in Rome and this year it kind of happened out of the blue, but we ended up in this spectacular city once again! We came for only 3 days with only 1 carry-on…can you imagine he horror? How do I pack in a backpack for 3 days in a city known for it fashion?! Well, this is how: comfortable, stylish, layered and cool.

Obviously my favorite Dior sunglasses were a must, I got them in Rome exactly a year ago! Still in love with them! What’s your favorite sunglasses to wear this season?

I’m wearing my go-to leather jacket from Mango, embroidered shirt, jeans and shoes from Zara, fishnets from Tezenis and sunglasses from Dior.
What’s the one Italian city you wish to visit?

Happy Women’s Day!

Today is a day for us women! It’s not about anything else than celebrating being a woman and believe me, that is reason enough to celebrate. We get to dress colourfully, flirty, masculine, sexy, comfy, get to wear makeup or not and feel beautiful doing all of it. So this post is dedicated to all women out there. Be brave, be strong and be yourself!

I really wanted to show you one of my favourite shirt dress and while I was getting ready to go to a botanic garden walk I noticed that for some reason all my pieces were blue. So I guess it is National Dress in Blue Day! LOL

Although it’s still early to see flowers out in the garden, we managed to find some places to take photos and see some wonderful things in nature. I hope you enjoy this unconventional photo shoot (due to my addiction to city life, this might not be a regular scenery, LOL).

Winter Wonderland, Poland

One of the things I really love about winter is the sports. I love skating and skiing so much, but I only got to go skiing in the past few years. Ever since we started going I’ve been very excited for this time of year and because not much else is happening in January and February except the winter Zara sale. LOL

So here’s a recap of our trip to beautiful Zakopane, Poland, which happens to be one of the most amazing places for skiing and for cheap shopping and eating.

In these pictures you can see how truly beautiful this city is! The mountains, the snow, the slopes. It’s just a postcard, that’s it.

We went on the trip with some of our friends and this is the only picture we have of the 6 of us. And the way I made it…I put my phone on top of a mud pile and set it for a 10 second timer and tried to smile while I couldn’t see a things on the screen. But it still turned out great, didn’t it? LOL

No matter what I do or where I am, I try to be as stylish as possible and the ski slopes are no exception. So here I am, styling it up on the snow. LOL

img_2169

Wearing my brand new Gucci sunglasses, my Zara hat, Mac lipstick, Mango sweater and coat and Promod gloves, which are so not practical for winter sports as they are suede, but I didn’t have time to get proper ski gloves, so that’s a task for next year.

Here you can check out the whole outfit with the ski pants from Tschibo and I switched the glasses to my mirrored Ray-Ban. But enough of me, look at those gorgeous mountains!!

img_2217

Ok, so here’s a close up of my Ray-Ban glasses and yes, I have a new fur hat which I absolutely adore. It is so chic and warm and the perfect for my winter outfits.

On our way back home we stopped to take some photos at this beautiful scenery in Slovakia, where the snow was almost untouched and I could premier my new Zara sweater with the furry sleeves, plus the famous fur hat and Gucci sunglasses.

I’m gonna end this post with this gorgeous sunset photo from the ski slopes that just looked breathtaking and I cannot wait to go back. Do you like to ski? Or any other winter sport? Let me know in the comments!

A Hungarian in Paris

It was the last week of January and we hopped on a plane and visited the city of love for a whole weekend. It’s been my third time in Paris and I have to say that I’ve never seen this city this beautiful. I loved everything about it, the smell, the weather, the clothes, the vintage stuff, the coffee, the sights, the buildings and the people as well.

We walked about 20km in two days but it flew by like a minute. We went to Notre Dame, Arc the Triumph, Museum d’Orsay, the Eiffel Tower and all the while had some amazing baguette and shopped a little bit. Here are a few pictures.

img_1916

We stayed at this pretty hotel on the 5th floor very close to Notre Dame, so we didn’t even have to go that far to see some amazing buildings.

img_1855

We had to stop by Notre Dame, because who doesn’t love The Huntchback of Notre Dame? And the song Esmeralda sings? Oh, I love it! If you by any chance don’t know it, click HERE!

We also visited the Musee of d’Orsay where we saw some amazing paintings from Van Gogh. I wore an outfit from Zara and painted the bottom of my hair grey with L’Oreal ColoRista.

img_1956

The buildings are to die for. I would live on any one of them for the rest of my life. (sigh)

img_2039

My favourite picture of the trip. So random, so perfect. And the Eiffel Tower in the background to make it too much to handle. The coat and the scarf are also from Zara (Hi, my name is Barbara and I am a Zara addict…)

img_1971

Yes, you guessed it, I went on the carousel, on a horse and I LOVED it! LOL

img_2016

If only you could see how hard it was to get on this thing to sit on… LOL

Let us not forget about the food. We had some, what we think was, salmon terrine, but it was delicious. After that I had some pasta with parmesan and cream and last but not least, the land of macaroons. Well, they were the best I ever had, so yea, I need to move here.

img_2014

Thanks for staying with my through this post! I loved sharing the pictures with you and I hope you enjoyed them as much as I loved making them. Let me know what is your favourite city in the comments!

Later babes,

B
